DEAR READER,
It's a strange feeling to sit here and feel the click of the keyboard underneath my fingers again.
It's been so long since I last made a blogpost that I honestly can't even remember what I used to write about. I'm not really sure how personal or professional I should make these since they will be posted on my online portfolio, so for now they will remain a work in progress.
To start off this post, I am compelled to update you on what has been recently going on in my life.
I am currently studying Broadcast Journalism - TV News at Fanshawe College, but if you've been looking through my website you probably know this already. What you may not know is that starting February 20th I will begin an internship with
The Weather Network
Gahhhh! I still can't believe that I just typed that, let alone that it's going to be happening in less than a month.
Many of you already know that the majority of my life has been in anticipation of one day becoming a Meteorologist, not just a Weather Girl, but a Meteorologist and now I can proudly say that I am one. I have also always had the goal of working alongside with the best at the Weather Network, and (hopefully) February marks the start of a new chapter in my life.
Now realizing that my academic life is coming to an end I can't help but be filled with joy and excitement for what awaits in these next coming months.
This is the first day of the rest of my life.
Here's a fun little video from snapchat of when I found out I got the internship:
That's all for now.
